When you don't want to be sweating at your August wedding, you choose a higher altitude and latitude.

That was one of the many factors that led V to a wedding weekend experience in Park City, Utah.

It was an honor and joy to plan one of our own Peach & Pearl Events planners. Deer Valley quickly became a favorite destination for our team.

Fun fact: Victoria chose Park City sight unseen. She knew they wanted the mountains, a place relatively easy to get to for everyone traveling in for the wedding, and to be able to truly honor her guests all weekend long. This led to the realization that she yearned for a truly intimate wedding with around 50 guests. It quickly became important to her family to truly host a weekend of events where guests didn't have to worry about their accommodations, food, or transportation. Every day started with a yummy breakfast and ended with a meal and cocktails.

Personal touches are so important...

From the welcome bags to the place settings, ensuring her guests felt cared for and loved was a top priority.

On the wedding day, as each guest took their seat at the reception, they were greeted by a personalized place card/menu card. Gracing the top of each menu was a carefully chosen Bible verse, selected by Victoria & Steven for each individual. This simple yet profound touch added a meaningful and beautiful layer to the celebration, truly reflecting the essence of the couple.

An unforgettable experience that beautifully captured their love

As a guest at the wedding, I experienced an entire weekend curated by Peach and Pearl Events that surpassed all expectations. The attention to detail, intentional planning, and seamless flow from the ceremony to the reception reflected the couple's shared values. The unique seating assignments, transportation, beautiful table setup, and impeccable service created a perfect atmosphere. The overall celebration truly made every guest feel special.

It was always about more than just them...

Like many couples, Steven and Victoria took the time to prioritize and evaluate their values while planning their wedding weekend.

They aimed to select a beautiful, memorable location to invite their closest family and friends to celebrate their union. They chose individuals who had been a pillar of support for their relationship, those who had cheered them on, and those they knew would be a lasting presence in their lives. With 14 years of wedding planning experience, this was the first time I had the opportunity to witness a glimpse into the guest list process, reminding me of the significance when advising clients to keep their guest count to a comfortable number—a decision they'll never regret.

A wedding beyond the pretty.

Yes, Victoria's was a beautiful summer wedding with all the favorite wildflower florals, lavender goblets, their pup, Goose, made an appearance on their cocktail napkins and custom lounge pillows, and they had a menu fit for a king. They had a full weekend of ladies brunching, guys hiking, breakfasts with fresh juice and mile-high bacon. Above all, they had a memorable weekend filled with love an laughter honoring those surrounding them and those no longer with them. It was the perfect mountain getaway.
